Worship The Brand - Otherworldly Dignitaries - Paintings

: I am an MFA student in Painting and Drawing in Arizona.

I examine the role of the fabricated environment in influencing identity through the authentic versus simulated relationship. Using irony and paradox, I create paintings, sculptures, and installations, which transform the icons of consumer culture into a dystopian vision, a cautionary tale. Through self-portraiture, I advocate for a more contemplative, simple and communal existence informed by honest yet responsible balance between ourselves, others, and the natural world.
